Question:
I'm not asking about support issues. I'm talking about trading signals. If you send me a New Position signal, for instance, and I never get it because it bounces, you don't resend it, right?
[--- UPDATED: 19/02/2005 11:43:51 ---] If your emails to me bounce because of a problem with my ISP, do they get resent? If yes, and subsequent resends fail for an extended period (say 2 days), do you contact me by phone, hold the emails in abeyance until the ISP problem is resolved, ignore the problem, or what?
Solution:
No that is correct we do not resend it. The position will still be auto-traded as the broker would have received the E-mail. We have direct access to our brokers and each trade is confirmed to make sure they have received it. If any trade alerts are missed they can be verified by checking the Trading Summary section in our weekly newsletter.

Which is why we prefer contact via the helpdesk facility, that way if you do not receive a reply in a "reasonable" amount of time you can check the status of your issue at http://www.anacott-investments.com/HD52/my.asp. Because all the issues are held in a database on our server the helpdesk system is not totally reliant on E-mail and so eradicates the problems caused by E-mails. It also means that because your enquiry is assigned to an operator then that operator takes ownership of the problem until it is resolved which gives greater continuity to the problem solving process. The system also provides an audit of the issues history.
